Gaming mouse buying guide

Wired or wireless?

Modern wireless mice have no noticeable latency left – the Sharkoon FireGlider One starts at 45.99 €, the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro is tournament class. Wired stays cheaper and never runs out of charge: the ACT AC5000 costs 30.99 €.

How much DPI do I actually need?

Less than the box suggests. Most players run 800–1600 DPI – sensor quality matters more than the maximum number. The Cherry Xtrfy M8 is the sweet spot at 99.99 €.

How heavy should it be?

Light mice tire your hand less and make fast flicks easier. The MCHOSE K7 Ultra-Light is our lightest option – and yes, it comes in pink.

Full precision needs the right surface: mousepads & desk pads from 25.99 €.
